We located & re-furbished this property in Hampton Lakes for a New York client.

The home is situated in Hampton Lakes, Davenport on THE best location in the community - South facing private pool & spa backing onto the lake with 2 tall Palm trees on either side of the pool screen giving a lovely view from the rear ground floor master & upstairs second master suites.

Major refurbishment was carried out:
New kitchen and stainless steel appliances. Bedroom 6 was converted to a Movie Theater Room complete with stadium style seating, popcorn machine & bathroom accessed directly or from hallway. Granite counters to kitchen & bathrooms and window sills in family and dining room. The kitchen bar was extended and an island was added along with the removal of the pantry giving more space and style with the addition of a dark wood corner cabinet. Warm red pendant lighting was added to the bar area along with a new complementary ceiling fan in the family room. Marble tiled floors to entrance foyer, dining room and kitchen. Also, movie room bathroom and master en-suite. The games room was transformed with an Austin Powers, Flower Power 60's style along with a Mural designed by New York Grafitti artist Chico. Walls were covered in bright psychadelic fabric and the front of the room was painted and trellis added for the light up flower to climb! The room houses games equipment & flat screen TV.

In the living area, the walls were colored and new base board and chair rails were added The dining area was influenced by the Vintage Mickey & Minnie Statue and warm colors of gold and wine give the perfect ambiance to this sophisticated themed Disney dining room! The Master bedroom & en-suite was transformed into the Hollywood Studios themed room with a gold color Mediterranean special paint effect which was carried through to the en-suite bathroom. The walk-in closet was knocked down and 2 his and hers closets. were built in a more traditional design with mirror doors to give the illusion of more light & space. The TV was hung in between the closets along with an over-sized chest of drawers.

Upstairs we themed the bedrooms in typical holiday style! The master bedroom theme is Treasures by The Sea with bead-board applied to the bottom of the walls for a cape-cod style and carried through to the en-suite with new contemporary sink & wood vanity unit, sand color porcelain floor tiles & blue/green mosaic wall tiles complete the look. The same tiles were used in the family bathroom along with the Finding Nemo accessories and white granite counters with new in-set double sinks. The other King size bedroom represents Animal Kingdom. The two children's bedrooms sleep up to 3 children, the little girls room is in the Disney Princess theme complete with Cinderella Carriage Bed and bunk beds. The superheros room has a large cabin bed and bunk beds.

The pool has been fitted with new LED color changing lights and a new pool heater. The deck was treated with a granitex finish with an abundance of pool furniture. The house was painted in a new "happy" color and the trees were replace with a new palm tree and orange tree. Shrubs were added to the sides of the pool screen for added privacy.

From the moment we opened the door to the home we felt welcome. The home is everything it says it is and much more. The theatre room was a much needed break from Disney, the kids thought it was "cool" to have a theatre with popcorn in the house. The younger kids were superhero's during down time thanks to the costumes provided by the owner. The owner was very easy to keep in contact with and very friendly throughout the rental process and after. Sitting outside at night was magical thanks to the view from the pool. Easy access to the main highway to get to Disney, universal, LEGOLAND and seaworld. We will certainly re-visit this home next time we are in the area!

What an amazing place! Kitted out with everything you need - just like home! Rooms were great, kiddies especially loved their themed rooms. The games room provided great entertainment and the theatre room is better than movies at the mall along with the popcorn machine - loved it. The view overlooking the lake is stunning! All conveniences thought of and provided. Attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of this home. Thanks to the owners for an awesome vacation home!!!!

This was the perfect place to stay. The house is everything described and more. I don't know where to begin. If only I had recorded the children's reaction when they first arrived. Running room through room, they uncovered another wondrous surprise wherever they turned. First the pool overlooking the lake. Then the pool room and air hockey room, followed by the theme bedrooms with costumes for kids of all ages. But the biggest surprise was the theatre room. Think of this. A full day at one of the many parks (all within minutes of the house). You are tired, the children are tired, you want to relax. Pop one of the DVD titles that are provided into the theatre system, and you are transformed into another world. Ahhhh! Then, after this break, the children happily go off to their princess or super hero bedrooms (after cleaning up in one of the four perfectly-appointed bathrooms), and you lie down in a soft bed and sleep soundly til morning. As you can see, we truly loved every moment we spent in this house, which really felt like home. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Furnishings were great quality, beds were extremely comfortable, and the pool was amazing. The back yard gets quite a lot of sun, so we really enjoyed spending time with the beautiful lake view. There is a nice walk around the lake, which is full of turtles (they seem to follow you as you walk, if you go slowly enough!). We had so much fun at the house, we really didn't want to leave! Location is convenient, owner and maintenance company are friendly and very responsive. I highly recommend and we will definitely come back!

This was our tenth trip to Florida and this was our favorite vacation home, by far! The house is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. I'm not sure which we enjoyed most... the view of the lake from the living room, the amazing movie theater room, the gorgeous bedrooms (including dress-up costumes!) or the fun games room. The home is immaculately clean and the owner, John, was great to work with. The location is fantastic. We had an easy drive to and from Legoland as well as Disney. The highest praise we can give is that we fully intend to return... and we have never done that with a vacation rental before.
Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
